Det innerste lyset

This musical story telling tells the story of Saint John of the Cross, a spanish Carmelite friar and priest known especially for his writings and poems. The story is based on the poems Saint John wrote while he was held in prison and tortured in the 1500s. I have composed music to these poems, and perform these together with musical landscapes. Story teller Tormod Fuglestad has united the story of Saint John with stories from our own time, and ask questions about who we are and what we really need on our lives.
